The color scheme is just a strategy to ease the effort of wire work, visual effects & CGI, a common trait of low budget CGI.

Without saying I'm sure the film has quite the budget & production talent but this lends to the heavy scrutiny levied by sci-fi, comic fans and black geeks everywhere.

Besides, Frank Miller set the thermometer and everything else is just an interpretation of this standard.

Re: New Threads for the Dark Knight

A gray jumpsuit with a black cape would be hookie. However, I am not a big fan of a multitude of raised rubber panels. Looks like over kill to me. An upscale version of the Keaton suit would be better.

http://batman.ugo.com/image...

Re: New Threads for the Dark Knight

I think he looks like a badass. I still here people complain about him not wearing the grey bodysuit with a black cape. Can these peopel be serious how lame would that look. You have to make artistic decisions when you move from one medium to another. It the same people who complain about Galactus in the FF2 movie. Do you really want to see a 300 ft tall guy in a purple jumpsuit.

Re: New Threads for the Dark Knight

I like it. A modern day Batman would wear something closer to body armor than what you see in the traditional comic book incarnation. Its an update of Michael Keaton's armor, and not the terrible Clooney armor.
