Three Mile Island doesn't have a light switch. You just can't shut it on and off. I would have preferred a Sentinel instead of Mimic/Deadpool.

I think the number of screen matters more on opening weekend than subsequent weekends. A sold out theater will push people to different films. I think Wolverine will still be in over 3000 screens this weekend. I think a 75 to 85 drop is extreme if that where true it would only make between 17 and 21 million. Watchmen made 17 million it second weekend and it was nowhere near Wolverines opening weekend.

The Power plant was shut down, in regards to the bullet I'm not clear did it penetrate the skull or dent it it. The force of the impact would have basically liquefied his brain achieving the same result. I would have preferred a Sentinel as the villain at the end.

First, that's an awful lot of screens that it played on. And second, I won't be surprised if it has a 75-80 percent drop off for next weekend.

I haven't watched Dollhouse, but I've heard very mixed reviews about it. But maybe now that FOX has cancelled it, this will save TSCC, because I absolutely love that show, and they can't leave us with a cliffhanger like that!!

Very good point about the cartoons on Saturday mornings. Even the cartoon networks don't really tap into that nostalgic thing.

As for Wrestling, I would have left it at 10 on Tuesday, but instead of having the commercials for the latest first run episodes or Saturday night movies, I would have the commercials for the reruns and next week's episode of whatever comes on before wrestling. Let the people who turn on the channel for that one hour (because a lot of them don't come back) see that there might be something that they might remember.

I think the movie was entertaining but lacked a soul. I think they stuck to the novel so much that some things didnt seem organic. It almost seemed liked a collection of scenes. You can follow the recipe but the results may not be the same.

I think the question Jarrell is implying is if all of this is happening in his head, and everything is his creation and influenced by his life experiences, then why did he make a conscious, or subconscious, decision to change her race?
Carole's observation is a more pertinent issue. Why did the producer/creator of the series, both the UK and the USA versions find it necessary to start his potential fiance as one race and then change it in his mind. This could easily have been dismissed if the USA version hadn't repeated the change. I, like Jarrell, wonder if this was something the writers planned on making an issue. Maybe we are giving the writers too much credit. He can fall in love with whomever he wants regardless of sex, color or religion but it's more than a coincidence that they did the same thing in the remake.

I think this all about the negoiations. I think he will be in the film. In regards to Howard he was making more money than the star of the film, and according to reports he was difficult on the set, which caused Faverau to write a smaller part for him. Big salary and a small part meant he had to go. I disagree on the part about the Ultimate Marvel Universe. I think the only reason Jackson was in the film was because of the Ultimate Universe version of Fury was based on him. Your correct in saying that the average person doesnt know the difference between 616 and Ultimate universes. I think everybody wants Jackson including Marvel its just a matter orf finding a price they both like. If you go back a few months the same thing happened with Faverau before he signed on for a second file

I think the one flaw in the television comparison is that television is that its no upfront cost to watch a televison show. Thats why I think digital its the future. A cheaper price and easier access may change the trend. Basically im waiting on itunes for comics.
