I don't know if Luke Cage is well known enough for it to be as successful as a potential Black Panther movie. I think it would be an easier sell to those who don't know who Black Panther is. My reasoning is that the budget for Cage will probably be smaller than a Panther film. Cage will benefit from the synergy of Hip Hop and Fanboys. Which makes it more of a sure thing. I love the panther but he isnt a mainstream icon like batman or superman with a built in audience.
