    You forgot about Ben "Chicken George" Vereen (Commander Edward. La Forge, M.D.) and Madge"Bell Reynolds" Sinclair (Captain Silva La Forge) who played Geordi's parents. Madge Sinclair was the first female Captain in Star Trek universe appearing as Captain of the U.S.S. Saratoga in Star Trek the Voyage Home.

    Your they were Roots but I was just refering to the The Gift in the movie. I started to get into other Sci-fi shows like Lloyd bridges as a Admiral Caine and Louis Gossett in Stargate. But that could have gotten out of hand.

    Though not in "The Gift", Brock Peters played in "Roots: The Next Generations" and a host of Trek roles. So, can anyone officially connect these two series?
